A grand Bellevue Hill mansion owned by food blogger Stephanie Conley-Buhre and her entrepreneur husband Oscar Buhre has sold for a whopping $31m.
The off-market transaction that’s been much anticipated — masterminded by Ray White Double Bay’s Ashley Bierman sources say — follows the couple’s recent $28.5m purchase of another trophy home, Alccooringa.

Both homes are on the same prestigious road, Victoria Road.
Their current home is a six-bedroom, six-bathroom affair with four-car garage on a 1,492sqm parcel of land amid beautifully landscaped grounds with a tennis court, heated pool and guesthouse.
Bierman’s sale is the highest price achieved in Bellevue Hill this year. The previous 2021 suburb record was about $26m set last month for a Tarrant Avenue mansion built by Spencer Simmons, the founder of real estate agency Laing + Simmons.
They’ve done a major renovation since they bought it for $17.1m three years ago, so it’s considerably more stylish than these images from the 2018 campaign show.
No current images were immediately available since the property sold off-market.
But even when the couple bought it in 2018, the home had already had a designer transformation.
And of course it has magnificent proportions, revived traditional details and panoramic north-easterly harbour views to the Manly skyline.
Highlights include the parquet floors, high ornate ceilings and classic leadlight doors.
The home has a luxurious master suite with Calacatta marble spa ensuite, a grand formal lounge and dining room and a large casual entertaining space opening to a covered dining terrace.
The upper-level living room has harbour views from its awning-shaded terrace.
There’s a chic designer kitchen with commercial oven and bespoke pantry, a two-storey self-contained one-bedroom guesthouse and impeccably manicured private gardens.
The garage has a workshop, bathroom and lift.
Wine lovers will appreciate the climate-controlled wine cellar for 1500 bottles.
They’ll be able to spend their left-over cash on a reno for their new home.
It’s considered one of the best examples of Spanish Mission residences in the area, but could do with a makeover.
It offers seven bedrooms, has 11 bathrooms and parking for six cars.
It’s on a 1,560 sqm block and it has panoramic views across Sydney Harbour, the city skyline, Harbour Bridge, Opera House and across to Manly.
Among its other attractions are a ballroom, private chapel, ladies and gents powder rooms and sweeping staircase along with a lift to all levels.
